Crashin the HOWie 6th street pub crawl

Good times were had by all I believe... <snob>Except those of us from the city. 6th st = FAIL.</snob>. But oddly enough, I realized I know nothing about 6th st or the bars on it.  Saw a lot of bars I'd never been too, let alone heard of. It was fun tho to check out the most popular bit of city like a tourist... in my own town.

Heres some of the shots from last night... Didnt pull out the camera enough :(

Up!

It started with a coin flip, fate was left to make the decision. Drag me to Hell vs. Up! Heads? Heads it is. Off we trek to the Alamo South Lamar to see Up!

I thought it was a fantastic film based around a one in a million classic love story between two "explorers." Loss and hanging on to the memories and depression and grief for those we love. Then the eventual realization of having to move on and have new adventures while not betraying those we lost. Lots of cute characters, grumpy old men, and a fat lil boy scout with a big heart.

I suggest going to this one... IMAX's have been showing this in 3D so try to get in on that.

I get it now. What a great idea. Thanks to a patient friend, he sold me. So here is where I begin.

Me this past weekend in NYC - Central Park. At 'Strawberry Fields', a memorial for John Lennon.
